This table lamp, defined by the meeting of two elements: a source of light and a diffuser,
presents itself as a cylinder of mouth-blown opal glass, with a powerful yet sober presence. With a satin-finish black metal ”belt” closely following the opaline surface, this lamp gives off a soft light. Its dimensions make of it a sculpture within the confines of an apartment, a mysterious wisp, just as lovely extinguished as it is when lit.
Shade in mouth-blown opal glass. Inset ring in satin black lacquered steel. A tube in
satin black lacquered steel, in the form of an inverted ‘U’ shape, conceals the black
electric flex and can also be used as a handle to assist in moving this large-scale lamp.
